Descripción
Since the inception of massive open courses (MOOCs) in 2008, five exciting years have passed in the world of training. The panorama seems initiated and relatively consolidated, so it seems pertinent to address the most relevant defining characteristics so far.
In this book we present some simple keys to understanding the MOOC movement and we aim to provide a clear and precise contextual framework in which to locate the training and dissemination of open knowledge. We have not wanted to present an idealized and adjective panorama of bonism with respect to the MOOC movement; Like any innovation that has required the attention of the world’s educational and university world, and after the initial measles, controversies have arisen that we have not wanted to ignore. Therefore, the reader will find the pros and cons of the movement so that they can generate their own, well-founded opinion on the principles of mass nature and free education applied to general and university education.
